02.03.2017 The First OTC financial benchmark MosPrimeRate has been accredited by Bank of Russia The First OTC financial benchmark MosPrimeRate has been accredited by Bank of Russia. Also Bank of Russia accredited the Self-Regulatory Organisation Natioinal Finance Association as an Administrator of this financial benchmarkOn the 2 of March, 2017, Bank of Russia has confirmed that the quality of contribution of MosPrimeRate financial indicator and its Administrator, SRO NFA, meets the requirements set by Bank of Russia. MosPrimeRate financial benchmark is an independent indicative rate. SRO NFA provides MosPrimeRate, basing on interbank market Ruble loans offer side rates quoted by leading participants of Russian money market to high grade financial organizations. SRO NFA acts as the Administrator of MosPrimeRate. MosPrimeRate contributors panel includes following banks: АО Alfa-bank, VTB Bank PAO, Vneshekonombank, Gazprombank PAO, АО Raiffeisenbank, АО Rosselkhozbank, PАО Sberbank of Russia, АО Unicredit Bank. Calculating Agent of MosPrimeRate benchmark is Thomson Reuters. By the Notice “On evaluating of quality of financial benchmarks and institutions responsible for financial benchmarks” dated the 30 of September, 2015, Bank of Russia has offered organization administering financial indicators to undergo a voluntary accreditation procedure of the indicators as such as well as  Administrators that administer them. With this in mind, SRO NFA has spent hours revising and updating drafts of existing and preparing a new paperwork in accordance with Bank of Russia requirements. SRO NFA expresses its gratitude towards the members of Expert Council for their great work with aligning MosPrimeRate documentation with requirements of Bank of Russia as well as with the IOSCO (International Organization of Securities Commissions) principals; and SRO NFA extends it special thanks to the Chairman of the Expert Council, Mr. Sergey Shchepilov, for coordinating of the entire process and arranging provision of highly professional expertise of АО Raiffeisenbank’s officers and stuff members.
